UK experts make clean technology cool in San Francisco

British companies' green mission is underway in Silicon Valley

A select group of Britain's leading clean technology companies are taking part in an intensive week-long networking event in California this week.

The Clean & Cool Mission provides a platform for some of the world's clean-tech innovators to share their knowledge and experience whilst contributing towards tomorrow's climate change solutions.

Nineteen UK organisations specialising in solar and wind power, low energy lighting and heating are playing their part in setting the financial and public policy agendas for US clean technology businesses.

Attendees are also providing their first-hand experiences of the mission in an insightful blog, detailing who is doing business with whom and their thoughts on the way forward for clean technology.

The mission has been organised by the Technology Strategy Board in conjunction with UK Trade and Investment, Polecat, Volans, Enterprise UK, Orrick, BP Alternative Energy and Cleantech Group.
