Breakfast briefing: productivity in construction
Join Constructing Excellence and BRE Academy to discuss the burning issues of productivity and efficiency and how they can be improved
Report from – Damien Carr
The launch of UK BIM Level 2 mandate for all central government projects and the recent Housing White Paper, which supports offsite construction, demonstrate the appetite for improving efficiency and productivity in the construction. For example, issues such over-ordering of stock, poor skills on site, and delivery waiting times result in 50% of time spent on construction times being wasted.
Held at Olympia in London, immediately before Day 2 of architectural trade show Vision 2017, this free breakfast briefing will form the basis for wider discussion around topics such as change management, skills & training, data capture/ management, BIM, and lean construction.
